On December 22, 2015, at 9:00 am, 2nd district officers responded to the 400 block of Hellerman Street where they were met by numerous complainants who's vehicle tires slashed/punctured while parked in Lawndale.
Investigation revealed that on December 22, 2015, 2:00 am, an unknown person slashed the tires on seven (7) parked vehicles on the 400 block of Hellerman Street, six (6) vehicle tires punctured/slashed while parked on the 6300 block of Shelbourne Street, and three (3) vehicles on the 6400 block of Oakley Street.
Area surveillance video was recovered depicting an unknown person slashing the tires as they walked their dog.
The following vehicles were parked on the 400 block of Hellerman Street:
DC #15-02-81137 2013 Ford Pick up truck 2015 Chevy 2001 Subaru 2001 Dodege 2001 Buick 2001 Cadillac 2010 Nissan
The following six (6) vehicles were parked on the 6300 block of Shelbourne Street:
DC #15-02-81156 2012 Toyota 2004 Chrysler 2006 Jeep 2015 Nissan 2015 Mitsubishi 2014 Dodge
The following three (3) vehicles were parked on the 6400 block of Oakley Street:
DC #15-02-81108 2014 Buick 2008 Chevrolet 2002 Acura
